The following information is provided by the Los Alamos Police Department.

Neither arrests nor charges indicate a conviction, and neither means that a person is guilty of the charges filed against them.

Oct. 4 at 6:38 a.m. / A 13-year-old Los Alamos girl reported that she was to victim of extortion by someone attempting to expose her. The matter is under investigation.

PEGGY MYERS

Oct. 4 at 2:47 p.m. / Police arrested Peggy Myers, 59, of Los Alamos at 15th Street and Central Avenue and charged her with driving on a suspended or revoked license.

Oct. 5 at 2:30 p.m. / A 70-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she was the victim of fraud in the 1200 block of Trinity Drive. The estimated loss is less than $250.

Oct. 8 at 1:09 p.m. /  A 43-year-old Los Alamos man reported that he was the victim of assault in the 800 block of 9th Street.

Oct. 8 at 4:16 p.m. /  Police arrested Juan Gonzales, 25, of Los Alamos in the 800 block of 9th Street and charged him with assault. A photo of Gonzales is not available.

Oct. 9 at 4:18 p.m. / A 43-year-old Los Alamos man reported that someone attempted to access his computer with the intent to defraud him in the 2300 block of Canyon Glen. The matter is under investigation.

RANDALL MONTOYA

Oct. 9 at 9:04 p.m. / Police arrested Randall Montoya, 42, of Truchas near Meadow Lane and Bandolina Drive and charged him with possession of marijuana.

Oct. 10 at 3:53 p.m. / A 59-year-old Albuquerque man reported that someone burglarized his vehicle parked in the 4000 block of Arkansas Street. The estimated loss is unknown.

Oct. 10 at 6:57 p.m. / A 34-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she was battered near 15th Street and Central Avenue.

PEDRO DIAZ

Oct. 10 at 6:57 p.m. / Police arrested Pedro Diaz, 36, of Los Alamos near 15th Street and Central Avenue and charged him with battery against a household member.

Oct. 10 at 7:29 p.m. / A 29-year-old Los Alamos man reported that someone damaged his property in the 100 block of La Paloma Drive.
