Los Alamos Police Blotter: May 9–May 15, 2013

The following information is provided by the Los Alamos Police Department.

Neither arrests nor charges indicate a conviction, and neither means that a person is guilty of the charges filed against them.

May 9 at 10:31 a.m. / A 53-year-old Los Alamos man in the 1300 block of San Ildefonso Road reported that he was the victim of larceny. The estimated loss is less than $2,500.

May 9 at 12:33 p.m. / A 53-year-old Los Alamos man reported a case of extreme cruelty to animals/torturing and criminal damage to property in the 300 block of Conejo. The matter is under investigation.

GARY BROWN

May 9 at 3:53 p.m. / Police arrested Gary Brown of Los Alamos on Canyon Road and charged him with failure to maintain his lane and driving on a suspended or revoked license.

 

 

FERNANDO RODRIGUEZ

May 9 at 6:54 p.m. / Police arrested Fernando Rodriguez, 31, of Los Alamos in the 2300 block of Trinity Drive and charged him with DUI, driving with an open container of alcohol, possession of a controlled substance and driving on a suspended or revoked license.

 

 

 CHAD BERGER

May 10 at 11:05 p.m. /  Police arrested Chad Berger, 22, of Los Alamos near N.M. 502 and N.M. 4 and charged him with parties to a crime.

 

 

 

CAMILLE HICKERSON

May 10 at 10:45 p.m. / Police arrested Camille Hickerson, 19, of Santa Fe on N.M. 502 and charged her with careless driving, aggravated DWI: Bodily injury, Minor In Possession and driving without insurance. 

May 10 at 10:45 p.m. / Police charged a 17-year-old Los Alamos girl on N.M. 502 with Minor In Possession and referred her to the juvenile probation officer.

WESTON HORPEDAHL

May 11 at 4:21 p.m. / Police arrested Weston Horpedahl, 36, of Los Alamos in the 100 block of La Paloma Drive with careless driving and aggravated DUI.

 

 

BRANDON GRIEGO

May 12 at 6:23 p.m. / Police arrested Brandon Griego, 25, of Espanola near N.M. 4 and Rover Boulevard on an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant.

May 12 at 11:26 p.m. / Police stopped Justin Gardner, 20, of Espanola on East Road for driving without tail lamps and charged him with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued a summons to appear in court.

May 13 at 10:14 a.m. / Los Alamos County reported that someone sprayed graffiti on its property on North Road. The estimated damage is unknown.

May 13 at 2:14 a.m. / Police arrested a 17-year-old Los Alamos boy near Canyon Road and Diamond Drive on an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant.

May 13 at 12:33 p.m. / Police charged a 17-year-old Los Alamos girl near 39th Street and Orange Street with Dark Window Tint, DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without insurance. She was referred to the juvenile probation officer.

May 14 at 4:53 p.m. / A 45-year-old Los Alamos man reported that someone burglarized his home in the 100 block of Bandelier Avenue. The estimated loss is unknown.

DANIEL GUTIERREZ

May 14 at 11:07 p.m. / Police arrested Daniel Gutierrez, 42, of Espanola near Rover Boulevard and N.M. 4 and charged him with driving without tail lamps, driving on a suspended or revoked license, driving on an expired registration, driving without insurance and on an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant.

May 15 at 10:47 a.m. / Police charged a 13-year-old Espanola boy with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 2100 block of Hawk Drive and referred him to the juvenile probation officer.

May 15 at 11:31 a.m. / A 41-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she was the victim of larceny in the 2400 block of Trinity Drive. The estimated loss is less than $20,000.

JAMES JUSTICE

May 15 at 3:05 p.m. / Police arrested James Justice, 42, of Los Alamos in the 100 block of Bandolina and charged him with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

May 15 at 3:57 p.m. / Police received a report of larceny in the 2100 block of Hawk Drive. The estimated loss is less than $500. 

LINDA MARTINEZ

May 15 at 5:44 p.m. / Police arrested Linda Martinez, 52, of Santa Cruz in the 1500 block of Central Avenue and charged her with DUI and driving on a suspended or revoked license.
