Los Alamos Police Blotter: March 15 to March 21, 2012

The following information is provided by the Los Alamos Police Department. Neither arrests nor charges indicate a conviction, and neither means that a person is guilty of the charges filed against them.

March 15 at 10:45 a.m. / Police charged a 15-year-old Los Alamos boy with possession of a controlled substance at Los Alamos High School and referred him to the juvenile probation officer.

March 15 at 9:59 a.m. / A 54-year-old Arvada man reported that he was the victim of fraud in the 3000 block of Trinity Dr. The estimated loss is less than $2,500.

March 15 at 1:56 p.m. / A 51-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she was the victim on fraud on Verde Ridge. The estimated loss is less than $250.

March 16 at 12:45 a.m. / Police charged a 16-year-old Los Alamos girl with battery against a household member on Kimberly Lane.

March 16 at 8:49 p.m. / Police initially arrested David Weatherbie, 45, of Los Alamos on Diamond Drive on a Rio Arriba Magistrate Court warrant, however, the warrant had been recalled by the court prior to the arrest but remained in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) data base. Weatherbie was subsequently released from custody.

DERRICK JAMESON

March 17 at 1:18 a.m. / Police arrested Derrick Jameson, 30, of Los Alamos in the 500 block of Central Avenue and charged him with driving on a suspended or revoked license.

March 17 at 7:20 p.m. / A 58-year-old Los Alamos man reported that someone damaged his property in the 900 block of Capulin Road. The estimated damage is less than $1,000.

March 17 at 9:36 p.m. / A 46-year-old Albuquerque woman reported that she was a victim of someone receiving or transferring her vehicle on Sioux Street without permission.

March 18 at 6:21 a.m. / A 19-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she is the victim of breaking and entering in the 900 block of San Ildefonso Road.

CHARLES BURNETT

March 18 at 6:21 a.m. / Police arrested Charles Burnett, 22, of Los Alamos in the 900 block of San Ildefonso Road and charged him with breaking and entering.

 

 

ALEJANDRO JASSO-LOPEZ

March 18 at 5:47 p.m. / Police arrested Alejandro Jasso-Lopez, 21, of Santa Fe on Trinity Drive on an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction.

 

 

 

CHARLES BURNETT

March 19 at 5:11 p.m. / Police arrested Charles Burnett, 22, of Los Alamos on San Ildefonso Road and charged him with possession of a controlled substance.

March 20 at 9:47 p.m. / A 15-year-old Los Alamos boy reported that he was the victim of criminal sexual penetration. The matter is under investigation.      

March 20 at 5:10 p.m. / Police responded to an unattended death of a 72-year-old woman in the 100 block of Grand Canyon Drive. Authorities do not consider the death to be suspicious.

RACHEL PARKER        

March 20 at 7 p.m. / Police arrested Rachel Rosemary Parker, 20, of Los Alamos on Central Avenue and charged her with criminal trespassing.

March 21 at 8:57 a.m. / A 31-year-old Santa Fe woman reported that she was the victim of larceny on Mesita Del Buey. The estimated loss is less than $250.

 

OLIVAMA MARTINEZ

March 21 at 12:07 p.m. / Police arrested Olivama Martinez, 33, of Espanola in Central Park Square on an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant issued through state police.

 

 

JOHNNY GARCIA

March 21 at 6:20 p.m. / Police arrested Johnny Garcia, 53, of Alcalde near 19th Street and Nectar Street and charged him with possession of marijuana.

 

 

 

KELLY CASADOS

March 21 at 6:37 p.m. / Police arrested Kelly Casados, 43, on Trinity Drive on an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant for a probation violation.

 

 

HENRY FLORES

March 21 at 7:23 p.m. / Police arrested Henry Flores, 50, of Los Alamos on San Ildefonso Road on a Magistrate Court warrant for a probation violation.

 

 

KRISTY HUTSON

March 21 at 8:14 p.m. / Police arrested Kristy Hutson, 27, of Los Alamos on 46th Street on a Municipal Court warrant issued for failure to appear and contempt of court.

 

 

CHERYL GABALDON

March 21 at 10:22 p.m. / Police arrested Cheryl Gabaldon, 47, of Ohkay Owingeh on an outstanding warrant issued through Rio Arriba Magistrate Court for failure to appear in court.
