Los Alamos Police Blotter: July 31–Aug. 2, 2013

The following information is provided by the Los Alamos Police Department.

Neither arrests nor charges indicate a conviction, and neither means that a person is guilty of the charges filed against them.

Aug. 1 at 8:18 a.m. / A resident reported that a firearm was stolen on North Road. The estimated loss is less than $2,500.

Aug. 1 at 12:17 p.m. / A 53-year-old Los Alamos man reported that someone used his credit card without his consent. The estimated loss is unknown.


Aug. 2 at 2:33 a.m. / Police arrested Marcy Garcia, 33, of Ohkay Owingeh at 3000 Trinity Dr., and charged her with aggravated DWI: Refusal to submit to chemical testing.

Aug. 2 at 6:30 p.m. / An 85-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she was the victim of fraud on Trinity Drive. The estimated loss is more than $20,000.

Aug. 2 at 9:02 p.m. / Police arrested Mark Henins, 47, of Los Alamos at Overlook Park and charged him with scavenging recycling material. He was issued a summons to appear in court.


Aug. 4 at 6 p.m. / Police arrested Renee Cata, 40, of Los Alamos on Diamond Drive at North Road on an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant.

Aug. 4 at 8:04 p.m. / A 31-year-old Los Alamos man reported that he was battered on Gold Street.

Aug. 5 at 9:42 p.m. / Police responded to a report of a 16-year-old Los Alamos girl who attempted suicide.


Aug. 6 at 9:10 a.m. / Police arrested Frutoso Martinez, 63, of Fairview on West Road and charged him with reckless driving.

Aug. 6 at 9:37 a.m. / An 86-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she was battered by a household member on Villa Street.



Aug. 6 at 11:17 a.m. / Police arrested Deborah Robinson, 64, of Los Alamos on Villa Street and charged her with aggravated battery against a household member.

Aug. 6 at 5:07 p.m. / Police arrested Antoinette Gonzales, 27, of Santa Fe on an outstanding Municipal Court Warrant in Santa Fe County. She is being held in Santa Fe so no booking photo is available.
