LAPD News:

The following information is provided by the Los Alamos Police Department.

Neither arrests nor charges indicate a conviction, and neither means that a person is guilty of the charges filed against them.

ROGELIO ANAYA

Feb. 22 at 3:26 a.m. / Police arrested Rogelio Anaya, 20, of Los Alamos at 9th Street and Central Avenue and charged him with speeding, driving with an open container of alcohol, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, distribution of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a license, driving without insurance and carrying contraband into a jail.

Feb. 22 at 9:08 a.m. / Police are investigating the report of child abuse of a 6-year-old Los Alamos girl.

Feb. 23 at 4 p.m. / A 34-year-old Albuquerque woman reported that she was the victim of larceny and receiving stolen property on Camp May Road. The estimated loss is less than $250 for larceny and more than $250 of stolen property.

JULIA TOMLINSON

Feb. 23 at 5:47 p.m. / Police arrested Julia Tomlinson, 19, of Albuquerque on Camp May Road and charged her with larceny and receiving stolen property.

Feb. 23 at 2:44 a.m. / Police charged Matthew Borovsky, 19, of Los Alamos at Carlsbad Avenue and Rover Boulevard with possession of marijuana and issued him a citation to appear in court.

 Feb. 26 at 10:29 a.m. / Southwest Office Solutions reported that it was the victim of embezzlement in the 1700 block of Central Avenue.

CELINE BARELA‑BENAVIDEZ

Feb. 25 at 4:20 p.m. / Police arrested Celine Barela-Benavidez, 41, of Rio Rancho on Trinity Drive and charged her with embezzlement.

Feb. 25 at 9 a.m. / Police charged a 13-year-old Los Alamos boy in the 2100 block of Hawk Drive with the unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon on school grounds and referred him to the juvenile probation officer and released him to his parents.

 

Feb. 26 at 9:30 a.m. / Police charged a 12-year-old Los Alamos boy in the 2100 block of Hawk Drive with the unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon on school grounds and referred him to the juvenile probation officer and released him to his parents.

Feb. 26 at 9:30 a.m. / Police charged a 12-year-old Espanola boy in the 2100 block of Hawk Drive with the unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon on school grounds and referred him to the juvenile probation officer and released him to his parents.

JAN SMITH

Feb. 26 at 3:06 p.m. / Police arrested Jan Smith, 58, of Los Alamos on Trinity Drive and charged her with DUI.

Feb. 27 at 11:09 a.m. / A 47-year-old Los Alamos man reported that someone burglarized his car parked on Diamond Drive.

Feb. 27 at 11:29 a.m. / Police charged a 16-year-old Los Alamos boy in the 1700 block of Diamond Drive with burglarizing a vehicle and referred him to the juvenile probation officer and released him to his parents.                     

Feb. 27 at 11:34 a.m. / A 45-year-old Chimayo woman reported that she was battered in the 900 block of Central Avenue.

Feb. 27 at 3:36 p.m. / Police charged Paul Lowe, 67, of Los Alamos in the 900 block of Central Avenue with battery and issued him a criminal summons to appear in court.
