The following information is provided by the Los Alamos Police Department.

Neither arrests nor charges indicate a conviction, and neither means that a person is guilty of the charges filed against them.

Aug. 4 at 1:27 p.m. / A 28-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she was the victim of criminal trespass.

DONAVEN VANWIJKWEIJER

Aug. 4 at 11:10 p.m. / Police arrested Donaven Vanwijkweijer, 18, of Los Alamos in the 1400 block of 40th Street and charged him with criminal trespass, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Aug. 4 at 11 p.m. / Police charged Phillip McFerrine, 22, of Los Alamos with criminal trespass at Mesa Meadow Pool and issued him a criminal citation to appear in court.

Aug. 4 at 11 p.m. / Police charged a juvenile boy of Los Alamos with criminal trespass at Mesa Meadow Pool and referred him to the juvenile probation officer. 

Aug. 5 at 5:53 p.m. / A 19-year-old Los Alamos man reported that he was the victim of an accident with no injuries in the 400 block of Urban Street.  

BENJAMIN ABBOTT

Aug. 6 at 8:04 a.m. / Police arrested Benjamin (Summer) Abbott, 29, of Albuquerque at Los Alamos National Laboratory and charged him with obstructing movement, refusing to obey an officer and trespass on West Jemez Road. 

BARBARA GROTHUS

Aug. 6 at 9 a.m. / Police arrested Barbara Grothus, 59, of Albuquerque at Los Alamos National Laboratory and charged her with obstructing movement, refusing to obey an officer and trespass on West Jemez Road.

CATHIE SULLIVAN

Aug. 6 at 9:10 a.m. / Police arrested Cathie Sullivan, 73, of Santa Fe at Los Alamos National Laboratory and charged her with obstructing movement, refusing to obey an officer and trespass on West Jemez Road.

PAMELA GILCHRIST

Aug. 6 at 9:16 a.m. / Police arrested Pamela Gilchrist, 73, of Santa Fe at Los Alamos National Laboratory and charged her with obstructing movement, refusing to obey an officer and trespass on West Jemez Road.

CATHERINE EULER

Aug. 6 at 9:20 a.m. / Police arrested Catherine Euler, 48, of Tucson at Los Alamos National Laboratory and charged her with obstructing movement, refusing to obey an officer and trespass on West Jemez Road.

JANET GREENWALD

Aug. 6 at 9:10 a.m. / Police arrested Janet Greenwald, 66, of Albuquerque at Los Alamos National Laboratory and charged her with obstructing movement, refusing to obey an officer and trespass on West Jemez Road.

JAMES HERWIG

Aug. 7 at 8:12 p.m. / Police arrested James Herwig, 70, in the 2200 block of Loma Linda Drive and charged him with abandoning a vehicle.

Aug. 7 at 9:31 p.m. / A 41-year-old Espanola man reported that he was battered on Overlook Road. The matter is under investigation.

DAVID RAEL

Aug. 8 at 12:51 p.m. / Police arrested David Rael, 34, of Los Alamos on Canyon Road and charged him with driving on a suspended or revoked license, no display of valid registration and no insurance. 

JOSEPH FAWCETT

Aug. 8 at 3:35 p.m. / Police arrested Joseph Fawcett, 31, of Los Alamos on Trinity Drive on an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant.
