Los Alamos Police Blotter: April 25–May 1, 2013

The following information is provided by the Los Alamos Police Department.

Neither arrests nor charges indicate a conviction, and neither means that a person is guilty of the charges filed against them.

April 25 at 7:44 a.m. / A 47-year-old Los Alamos man reported that he was the victim of larceny in the 900 block of Canyon Road. The estimated loss is under $500. The matter is under investigation.

April 25 at 1:48 p.m. / A 22-year-old Tempe man reported that he was the victim of criminal sexual penetration in the 900 block of Capulin Road. The matter is under investigation.

April 25 at 12:20 p.m. /  Police responded to the unattended death of an 84-year-old Los Alamos woman in the 1700 block of Ponderosa Street. Foul play is not suspected. 

TATYANA KURENNAYA

April 25 at 4:37 p.m. / Police arrested Tatyana Kurennaya, 59, of Los Alamos and charged her with aggravated DUI after stopping her for failure to maintain her lane in the 2400 block of Central Avenue.

 

JOHN ARCHULETA

April 26 at 6:20 p.m. / Police arrested John Archuleta, 37, of Farmington after failing to maintain his lane in the 3000 block of Trinity Drive and charged him with DUI.

April 26 at 12:47 a.m. / A 24-year-old in the 3300 block of Canyon Road reported that her property was damaged by a household member. The estimated loss is unknown.

 

JUAN VIGIL

April 26 at 12:47 a.m. / Police arrested Juan Vigil, 34, of Los Alamos in the 3300 block of Canyon Road and charged him with assault against a household member, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct.

 

 

ROBERT TORRES

April 26 at 7:55 p.m. / Police arrested Robert Torres, 37, of Los Alamos in the 3200 block of Canyon road and charged him with driving on a revoked or suspended license.

April 27 at 7:42 a.m. / A 40-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that someone damaged her property in the 300 block of Cheryl Avenue. The estimated loss is less than $1,000.

April 27 at 11:59 a.m. / A 52-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that someone burglarized her home in the 300 block of Camino Encantado. The estimated loss is unknown.

April 29 at 11:02 a.m. / A 27-year-old Los Alamos man reported that someone unlawfully used his telephone in the 1600 block of 37th Street.

April 29 at 5 p.m. / A 28-year-old Los Alamos man reported that he was the victim of larceny on Arkansas Avenue. The estimated loss is less than $250.

CARLOS BAEZA

April 29 at 11:39 p.m. / Police arrested Carlos Baeza, 32, of Los Alamos on Diamond Drive and charged him with driving without tail lamps, driving on an expired registration, driving with children not wearing their seatbelt, driving on an expired or revoked license and no insurance.

April 30 at 11:23 a.m. / A 49-year-old Los Alamos man reported the fraudulent use of his credit card in the 200 block of Rover Boulevard. The estimated loss is $300.

April 30 at 12:30 p.m. / A 42-year-old Penasco woman reported that someone unlawfully used her telephone in the 100 block of East Road.

April 30 at 5:54 p.m. / A 56-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that someone burglarized her home in the 1200 block of Big Rock Loop. The estimated loss is unknown.

AMBER CRUZE

April 30 at 7:12 p.m. / Police arrested Amber Cruze, 21, of San Juan Pueblo on Canyon Road and charged her with driving on a suspended or revoked license.

May 1 at 4:04 p.m. / A 55-year-old Santa Fe man reported that someone damaged his property. The estimated loss is less than $1,000.

May 1 at 10:03 p.m. / A 35-year-old Los Alamos man reported that he was battered in the 1700 block of Deacon Street.

JOE ARCHULETA

May 1 at 10:15 p.m. / Police arrested Joe Archuleta, 43, in the 1700 block of Deacon Street and charged him with aggravated battery.
