Born and raised in Los Alamos, Delbert J. Romero Jr., realized his dream of working in the real estate industry when he passed the exams in May and went to work as an Associate Broker at EXIT Realty Advantage New Mexico.
“I started my new career at the same time as Jordan Lichthardt and John Smeltz and we are all excited to be a part of the Exit Realty team,” Romero said. “I have a particular talent for attention to detail and continuously improving and sharpening my skills to advance in the workforce. I am eager to learn new skills and adapt to an ever-evolving market. I have always dreamed of becoming an Associate Broker in the Real Estate industry ever since a young age. This profession is truly a dream come true!”
While in college, Romero worked for a company that purchased and remodeled homes and then sold them for profit. From there, he started his own small business offering cleaning services in Northern New Mexico. Romero started New Clear Solutions, LLC in 2016 and steadily increased the operation over the years.
“I have been heavily engaged in the community in various aspects regarding property maintenance and special services to enhance value to properties through small projects,” he said. “I actively provide year-round services such as snow removal and property clean-up in the spring and fall. My clients are returning satisfied customers and I receive new customers by recommendation.”
Romero explained why he decided to join EXIT Realty.
“I have heard such good things about Lance Eaton and the EXIT Realty team,” Romero said. “I chose EXIT after my first interview, despite having other options. They had the best first impression. Training began immediately with support from Janet Lovato and Hunter Eaton. The company has an outstanding reputation in the community.”
Owner and Qualifying Broker Lance Eaton spoke about Romero.
“EXIT Realty is growing,” Eaton said. “I am super excited to have Delbert join the EXIT family. Our office culture reflects our values of support, collaboration, professionalism and community service. Delbert shares these values. Now, it’s my job to make sure he meets his personal goals by giving him the best training, the best tools and support to be successful.”
Romero and his wife Paya just returned from vacation and he said he is ready to hit the ground running.
“I am proud to call New Mexico home,” Romero said. “I look forward to helping folks who are eager to share this beautiful community with us to find their home!”
Romero and his wife live on North Mesa with their 3-year-old Australian shepherd and border collie mix Hurricane.
