Los Alamos Master Gardeners News:

The Los Alamos Master Gardeners are sponsoring Santa Fe Extension Gardener Jannine Cabossel aka The Tomato Lady, in an evening program to tackle the question “How do I raise vegetables in this environment?”

There is no charge for this public program, which is 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, May 1 at Fuller Lodge.

Cabossel has been raising veggies and flowers in her 4,000 sq. ft. organic Artisan Garden in Santa Fe for more than 25 years. She is well experienced with the local short growing season, difficult soils and changing growing climate. The Tomato Lady cultivates heirloom tomatoes, unusual varieties and record-setting giants.
