LALT News:
It’s been a long year with the Performing Arts Center undergoing renovations, and the Los Alamos Little Theatre (LALT) is looking forward to a full and exciting season—and needs a full board of directors to make it happen.
“LALT is officially seeking passionate, dedicated individuals to join our board of directors,” LALT Board President Terry Turton said.
LALT is seeking community-minded businesspeople and theatergoers to help shape the future of theater in Los Alamos.
As a community-led organization, “we rely on a diverse team of dedicated volunteers to guide our artistic mission, oversee financial health, and ensure our theater remains a vibrant home for local talent,” Turton said. “Whether you’re a sometime theater participant, a business pro or a lifelong theater-lover with a knack for organization, we need your special skills and support.”
All nominees have to agree to their candidacy before they are put on the ballot, which will be voted on at LALT’s annual membership meeting, 2-3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at the Performing Arts Center at 1670 Nectar St.
The community at large is welcome to attend the membership meeting. To vote, attendees must become LALT members, which requires annual dues of $5.
“Help us pull back the curtain on our next chapter,” Turton said. “Nominate yourself or a fellow community member today!”
LALT has been bringing live theatre to Los Alamos since the 1940s.
Details about LALT’s 2026-2027 season will be announced once rights have been secured for all five productions in the lineup.
