Los Alamos Little League Softball Plays Pojoaque

The Los Alamos Senior Little League Softball Team traveled to the Pojoaque Valley Sports Complex Monday to play a team from Pojoaque. In the dugout before the game, the Los Alamos players tried to stay cool and get hydrated. The weather was sunny and very hot, with temperatures approaching 100 degrees on the artificial turf field. The players from both teams were affected by the heat, with a Los Alamos player leaving the game because of the heat. The game was all Pojoaque as they came out strong and seemed to do everything right. The game ended 15-5 Pojoaque. Photo by John McHale/ladailypost.com
