Members of the Grow Group, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, visit Los Alamos Landscape and More this afternoon at 2470 East Road. The local landscaping business is owned by Craig and Rachel Wehner.

In addition to touring Los Alamos Landscape and More, members of Grow Group visited the Los Alamos History Museum and had dinner with the Wehners.

Grow Group Executive Coach Jim Cali explained that the organization operates peer group matching services for like-minded individuals in the green industry. He said Grow Group members share practices and help grow businesses.

Cali explained that members meet three times a year at different member sites.

In the particular group the Wehners belong to, there are 10 members. In the entire organization, there are 58 members.

Today’s visit was the first time Grow Group has met in Los Alamos. While at Los Alamos Landscape and More offices, Cali said members interviewed the management team and asked them for feedback about the business, what they would like to do differently and what they feel is the best part of their job.

After meeting the Wehners and learning about their business, Cali said, “They have a unified leadership team in Craig and Rachel with a long-term understanding of where they want to take the firm.”
