The Los Alamos County Ice Rink is adding Skater Development Sessions to its schedule starting Jan. 18 through Feb. 14.
The Sessions are available by reservation via phone only, with no more than 10 people per session.
Reservations can be made one day in advance and will be limited to four individuals or one household if calling for a family larger than four.
To make a reservation for a skate session, call the Ice Rink 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 505.662.4500; voicemails and emails will not be accepted as confirmed reservations.
Skater Development sessions include a brief skating lesson at the beginning of each session.
Skater Development Schedule:
Monday, Jan. 18 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
- Session 1: 11:30am – 12:30pm
- Session 2: 1:00pm – 2:00pm
- Session 3: 2:30pm – 3:30pm
Wednesdays and Fridays
- Session 1: 1:00pm – 2:00pm
- Session 2: 2:30pm – 3:30pm
Saturdays and Sundays
- Session 1: 3:00pm – 4:00pm
- Session 2: 4:30pm – 5:30pm
- Session 3: 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Note: locker rooms, concessions, skate sharpening, and water fountains are not available. However, skate rentals and restrooms are available. The Los Alamos County Ice Rink is categorized as a “Close-Contact Business” under the current Public Health order and as such, masks must be worn at all times, and social distancing of 6 feet must be practiced.
