Los Alamos Hockey Wins Season Opener

Goalie Kam Remde leads his team on to the ice Friday evening for the season opener game against the Albuquerque Bears at the County Ice rink in Los Alamos Canyon. Both teams play in the Rio Grande High School Hockey League, a league made up of six teams from New Mexico, Texas and Colorado. The Topper team dominated both games winning 8-3 for Friday night’s game and 9-3 for the Saturday morning game. As always there was plenty of action, regardless of the score as both teams played good hard hockey. Photo by John McHale/ladailypost.com
