Los Alamos Hilltopper Girls Basketball Congratulated On Exciting Season

SPORTS News:

Congratulations to the Lady Hilltoppers on the completion of a 24-6 season, reaching a #1 ranking in NM AAAAA and finishing out the year ranked #6.

Coming into the season, expectations were varied since the team only returned one senior, guard Amber Logan and two junior lettermen, Jordan Duran and Makaela Jones. However, first year head Coach Nestor Trujillo and assistants Tarah Logan and Benito Maestas brought a winning attitude along with Nestor’s daughter, junior Ashlynn Trujillo.

With co-captains Amber Logan and Ashlynn Trujillo leading the way, the team had one of the finest seasons in recent memory and made Los Alamos proud with how they performed on and off the court including participation in the community.
