Los Alamos High School Graduate Micaela Salazar Receives Commission As Second Lieutenant

Los Alamos High School graduate Micaela J. Salazar recently completed the University of New Mexico’s Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program and received a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force.

Salazar also received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Minor in Criminology, graduating with honors.

She plans to continue law school at UNM to become a licensed attorney as well as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) in the Air Force. Her biggest dream is to fight for those whose rights have been violated and be the voice to defend them.
