Los Alamos High School 1984 graduate and now Columbia Law Professor Eric Talley has been elected to the American Academy of Arts & Sciences, one of the nation’s most prestigious honorary societies.

Talley teaches and writes in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, machine learning and contract and corporate law and finance. As co-director of the Ira M. Millstein Center for Global Market and Corporate Ownership, he directs research and programs focused on the future of corporate governance and performance and hosts the podcast “Beyond Unprecedented: The Post-Pandemic Economy.”

Talley is the son of Fran Talley of Los Alamos.

Talley joins more than a dozen Columbia Law professors who are members of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences.
