The Republican Party of Los Alamos County officially opened the doors to its 2016 camapign headquarters Friday night to a great crowd of supporters. There was food, candidates and lots of excitement for the upcoming elections.
The Los Alamos Federated Republican Women (LAFRW) carried on its election year tradition of presenting checks to local candidates. LAFRW President Bethany Douglas presented the checks to help the candidates with campaign expenses.
The local GOP campaign headquarters is between Viola’s and Subway, and in-between State Farm Insurance and P&L Housekeeping at 1362 Trinity Dr., Suite C. The headquarters is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. The headquarters telephone number is 505.709.7571.
Candidate information, signs and free t-shirts are available along with coffee, tea and snacks. GOP members invite everyone in the community to stop in and visit – everyone is welcome.
