Los Alamos Golf Course Community Building Construction Begins Tuesday

The start of construction for the Golf Course Community Building begins Tuesday, Sept. 4.

Contractor Gerald Martin will be fencing off the southern half of the parking lot.

Patrons to the golf course will be allowed to park in a single row of angled spaces in the main lot and in the overflow parking lot on the west side of the driving range.

There is existing signage directing traffic to the overflow parking lot. The contractor will be using a portion of the overflow parking lot as a staging area for their equipment.

The contractor is required to abide by the county noise ordinance, which limits the hours of operation from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.

A project website has been established to provide updates for residents at www.losalamosnm.us under “Projects/Golf Course Community Building.”

The website will be updated whenever new information becomes available.

The public can e-mail questions or comments to cpfd@lacnm.us.
