Los Alamos Geological Society will feature Luke P. Frash, PhD., EIT., at its upcoming meeting 7-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 21 at the Los Alamos Christian Church, 92 East Road.
Frash, a scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory, will discuss the greater potential of clean geothermal energy. He will introduce the concept and present its potential in order to solicit feedback for a scoping study to assess the viability of constructing the world’s first “X”geothermal system in the Jemez Mountains of New Mexico. Honest, direct, and critical discussion will be encouraged.
All in the community are invited to attend and light refreshments will be served.
