The Los Alamos Garden Club’s monthly meeting will feature guest speaker Don Bustos who owns and operates the Santa Cruz Farm and Greenhouse.
Bustos talk is at 10:30 a.m., Sept. 15 at the Crossroads Bible Church and his theme is Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). CSA is a system of farming that relies on a farmer/community relationship. The farmer grows high quality produce and sells subscriptions to members of his/her local community. It is a mutual support relationship.
The Los Alamos Garden Club meets every third Monday and includes a 9:30-10 a.m. social time, a short business meeting at 10 a.m., and a program at 10:30 a.m. This month the organization will hold its annual Harvest Luncheon.
