LAFD News:

The Los Alamos Fire Department (LAFD) took delivery of a plane fuselage today for use in future training exercises.

The fuselage will be stationed at the Los Alamos Airport, where it will serve as a training tool for the Crash Fire Rescue 6 truck, which is housed at Fire Station 6.

LAFD will conduct Aircraft Rescue Firefighter Training to practice response times and scenarios to maintain operational readiness for this type of incident. No live fire will be utilized at the site.
