Dog owners interested in classes should visit the LADOC website losalamosdogs.org for more information and to sign up for receiving email notifications of each session’s class offerings and schedule. Although not every activity is offered each class session, LADOC’s classes can help you train an obedient family pet and provide you and your dog fun learning opportunities and mental stimulation.

LADOC invites you to join LADOC yourself. Participate in the wide world of dog sports for fun and camaraderie with other dog owners. LADOC members and their dogs compete at dog shows all over the USA in a variety of dog sports such as tracking, herding, dock diving, rally, agility, barn hunt, flyball, lure coursing, schutzhund, field and hunt tests, formal obedience, nose or scent work, and conformation. Mixed-breed dogs are welcome to compete in every dog sport except conformation. Most members are delighted to mentor newcomers interested in “their” sport.

LADOC’s mission statement is “training you to train your dog”. Over the past 70 years, thousands of Los Alamos County and area dog owners have built satisfying and fun relationships with their canine companions through training. Keeping up with the latest evolutions in dog training and in dog sports, LADOC members and trainers are continually learning and improving their training methodologies and training techniques.

The Los Alamos Dog Obedience Club (LADOC) is a non-profit 501(c)4 training organization providing economical dog training services to Los Alamos County and surrounding area dogs and their owners since 1951.
