James Jeremiah Dyson

Los Alamos County Sheriff Marco Lucero arrested James Jeremiah Dyson this afternoon in Santa Fe and charged him with two felony counts of fleeing the jurisdiction and failing to register under the Sex Offenders Registration and Notification Act  NMSA 29-11-A-4(G)(H).

Dyson, 41, registered as a sex offender May 26, 2015 and was last known to be living at 954 Capulin Road in Los Alamos. He fled the county following a police raid on his residence in January of this year. He is being held in Santa Fe on federal charges.

Dyson will be remanded into the Sheriff’s custody after he has served his current sentence.
