COUNTY News:
Los Alamos County is seeking community input on potential renovations to the athletic courts at Urban Park and invites residents to participate in an upcoming listening session focused on how the courts and surrounding spaces are used today.
The community meeting will provide an opportunity for participants to share feedback, identify needs, and explore ideas to improve athletic facilities and better serve the community. This project involves removing and replacing current assets within the same footprint, including the tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts.

This meeting is being held during the early design phase of the project. Feedback gathered during the listening session will help inform future design decisions before any construction timelines are finalized.
The project’s long-term goal is to improve accessibility, safety, and usability of the athletic courts in alignment with County planning efforts, including the 2023 CSD Integrated Master Plan and the ADA Transition Plan. Community members of all ages and abilities are encouraged to attend and share their perspectives.
