Philadelphia, PA – Los Alamos County Intergovernmental Affairs Manager Danielle Duran was elected vice president of the National Association of County Intergovernmental Relations Officials (NACIRO) at the National Association of Counties (NACo) Annual Conference on July 13, 2025, in Philadelphia, PA.

NACIRO is a professional organization of intergovernmental relations officials and county advocates, with members from across the United States representing counties to ensure federal policy benefits local governments. NACIRO is governed by a Board of Directors serving in their roles for two years. NACIRO is an affiliate of NACo and is allotted a representative on the NACo Board of Directors.

Duran will serve on the Executive Board of NACIRO alongside President Danny De Hoog (Maricopa County, Ariz.), Secretary Shawn Milne (Cache County, Utah), Treasurer Edward Labrador (Florida Association of Counties), and Immediate Past President Tiffany Stewart-Stanley (Douglas County, Ga.).

The Board of Directors also has four appointed regional representatives that include: Central Regional Representative Jennifer O’Rourke (Ramsey County, Minn.), Northeastern Regional Representative Thomas Spisak-Mosher (Montgomery County, Penn.) Southeastern Regional Representative Jennifer Rutledge (Rockdale County, Ga.), and Western Regional Representative Hannah Kase Woods (New Mexico Association of Counties).
