Los Alamos County invites community members to attend the first community engagement session for the Los Alamos Mesa Trail Rehabilitation Project at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 4 at Fuller Lodge (2132 Central Ave., Los Alamos, NM 87544).

This initiative focuses on creating a safer, more accessible, and welcoming trail experience for users of all abilities. The project will rehabilitate approximately 2,500 linear feet of the Los Alamos Mesa Trail to bring it into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Public Right of Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG). Planned improvements include revitalizing the trail surface and enhancing accessibility along the segment extending from East Park to Nambe Place and the Airport.
