Los Alamos County: Holiday Hours Of Operation

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County administrative offices will be closed Nov. 24 and Nov. 25 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

The following County Facilities will have modified hours and services:

Eco-Station 

  • Eco Station will be closed Nov. 24 and Nov. 25 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
  • No recycling or trash pickup Nov. 24 and Nov. 25 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Alternate Pick-up Day if affected: Wednesday Nov. 23.

Recreation Facilities

Ice Rink

  • Open noon to 5 p.m. Nov. 24-27.

Golf Course

  • Open (Winter Hours) – visit the Golf page for more information: http://www.losalamosnm.us/rec/golf/Pages/default.aspx.

Larry R. Walkup Aquatic Center

  • Closed Nov. 24 and Nov. 25 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.  

Library: Mesa Public and White Rock Branches

  • Wednesday before Thanksgiving – Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Thursday – Thanksgiving Day – Closed
  • Friday after Thanksgiving – Open 1-5 p.m.

Transportation

  • Atomic City Transit will not be running fixed-route or Dial-a-Ride service on Nov. 24 or Nov. 25 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Other Facilities

  • All other County Facilities will be closed Nov. 24 or Nov. 25 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. This includes Municipal Court.
