COUNTY News:
Los Alamos County administrative offices will be closed in observance of Christmas Day, Dec. 25 and New Year’s Day, Jan. 1.
The following County Facilities also will have modified hours and services:
311 Customer Care Center
The 311 windows will close at 3 p.m., Dec. 24 so that staff can close drawers and wrap up all daily required business before leaving.
Eco Station
Closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day
No trash or recycling collection. Alternate Pick-up Days:
- For Christmas Day – Wednesday, Dec. 24,
- For New Year’s Day – Wednesday, Dec. 31.
Larry R. Walkup Aquatic Center
- Christmas Eve Day – Closed at 5 p.m.;
- Christmas Day – Closed;
- New Year’s Eve Day – Closed at 5 p.m.; and
- New Year’s Day – Closed.
(Regular hours once again 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and 1-5 p.m. Sundays).

No service Christmas Day or New Year’s Day
All other County Facilities
Closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. This includes District, Municipal and Magistrate Courts.
