COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Council will continue the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget Hearings at 6 p.m. today, April 23, in Council Chambers at 1000 Central Ave.

An online option via Zoom is also available to individuals who prefer to join remotely. 

The agenda for tonight’s hearing is available at https://losalamos.legistar.com/Calendar. The complete budget book is also available online at lacnm.com/Budget.

The Council began its budget hearings earlier Monday April 21 and held its second hearing Tuesday, April 22. Recordings of those sessions are accessible on the Legistar website. 

If the Council does not adopt the budget at tonight’s meeting, hearings will resume at 6 p.m. Monday, April 28 and if necessary, Tuesday, April 29.

Public comments are accepted at the beginning of the hearing for items not on the agenda. Also, public comments will be taken prior to final adoption of the budget.
