Los Alamos County Assessor Ken Milder released this afternoon the 2020 Property Valuation and Maintenance Plan to the County Council and public as part of his Fiscal Year 2021 budget request, pursuant to 7-36-16E NMSA 1978.

“Typically, this plan would be presented to the Council prior to annual budget hearings, but because of COVID-19, the pandemic forced a delay until after the hearings conclude,” Milder said.

The release of the Plan today was necessary in order to comply with the State statute.

Budget hearings are set for April 20, 21, 27 and 28. Milder said the Plan’s formal presentation to Council has been scheduled for the Tuesday, May 5 meeting.
