Los Alamos County Assessor Mails Out Annual Business Personal Property Declaration Forms … Due Back By Feb. 28

County Assessor Ken Milder

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Assessor would like to inform local business owners that their annual Business Personal Property Declaration (BPP) forms were mailed out last week.

The purpose of these forms is to notify business owners of their current depreciated assets on file and to remind them of the statutory requirement to report to the Assessor any personal property they might be depreciating through the course of their business.

Owners have until the last day of February to complete and return these forms to the Assessor’s Office.

If you are a business owner who reports business personal property to the County Assessor, please be advised that there might be a discrepancy in the depreciated totals indicated on the BPP forms of some accounts. If you are one of these business owners, a revised form has been mailed to you.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this process, feel free to contact the Assessor’s Office at 505.662.8030, or send an email to assessor@lacnm.us.
