COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Assessor’s Office and the New Mexico Department of Veterans Services are reaching out to Veterans to provide special assistance 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 16 in the Municipal Building at 1000 Central Ave., Ste. 210.

Staff will be on hand to provide one-on-one assistance and information on Veteran property tax exemptions, disabled Veteran property tax waivers, Veteran license plates, access to parks and museums for disabled Veterans and much more.

Los Alamos County Assessor Ken Milder reminds Veterans who plan to attend to bring their DD Form 214 or discharge or separation documents.
