Co+op News:

The community is invited to make Valentine’s Day cards and decorations in the café of the Los Alamos Co+op Market 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11. This is a free, family-friendly event, open to the public.

Arts supplies will be available for adults and children to express their creativity, while crafting someone fun for themselves or a loved one.

Lunch is available for purchase at the Co+op’s deli hot bar. Saturday’s menu features lemon garlic salmon, chicken penne pasta, Italian potato wedges, spicy Thai tofu, assorted veggies, rice, and a choice of soup. Several items are gluten-free and/or vegetarian-friendly.

The Los Alamos Co+op serves meat and vegetarian breakfast burritos 8 a.m. until they run out Monday-Saturday. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., patrons can choose from a variety of delicious, healthy food at the hot bar and salad bar. Sundays, meet a friend for brunch at the Co+op and enjoy eggs, bacon, pancakes and potatoes, along with fresh coffee and espresso.
