Sunday’s collaborative performance by the Los Alamos Community Winds, Los Alamos Choral Society and Los Alamos High School Choirs of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 in D Minor, Op. 125 in its entirety drew audience members to their feet.

Guest soloists Louise Mendius, Melissa Riedel Andreas Tishhauser and Loren Jacobson added a spectacular layer to Sunday’s event.

Shouts of bravo echoed through Duane Smith Auditorium as the extraordinary 90-minute performance conducted by Winds Musical and Artistic Director Ted Vives came to a close.
