Los Alamos Community Foundation And UWNNM Promote #GivingTuesdayNM For Local Nonprofits

LACF News:

Los Alamos Community Foundation (LACF) and United Way of Northern New Mexico (UWNNM) are excited to help promote #GivingTuesdayNM for local nonprofits.

In 2018, 142 nonprofits in 24 communities across the state raised more than $2,520,285 for their work. Nonprofits in Northern New Mexico are encouraged to participate in #GivingTuesday this year to take advantage of the charitable giving momentum that this day generates nationwide.

This year, #GivingTuesday falls on Dec. 3. Los Alamos County and the City of Espanola have officially proclaimed Dec. 3 to be “Giving Tuesday”.

To learn more about how nonprofit organizations can participate, visit https://www.centerfornonprofitexcellence.org/GivingTuesdayNM.

Nonprofits should register their organizations on the 2019 list of participants, which can be done through the link above, and use the promotional materials provided to communicate with their donors. Consider having a donor provide matching funds to all gifts generated on #GivingTuesdayNM to help build excitement and momentum!
