Downtown Los Alamos hosted ChamberFest June 8 during which attendees played ChamberFest BINGO and now the winners have been drawn.

Three winners were selected from among 200 BINGO cards completed and returned to the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce.

The grand prize winner is Natalie Mateju, who won $100 in Chamber Checks, as well as a gift certificate from Classic Air Medical for a 10-minute scenic helicopter flight for up to three people. Mateju is a summer student at Los Alamos National Laboratory from the University of Michigan.

The second place winner is Sveta Kuksova, who won $70 in Chamber Checks. The third place winner is Chelsea Nguyen, who won $50 in Chamber Checks.

Fifty of the 70 participating businesses were represented on the ChamberFest BINGO card, a game which gave visitors a chance to win a prize if they completed three lines – one horizontal, one vertical and also a diagonal – by visiting booths and getting their card initialed.

ChamberFest is an annual event held on the second Saturday in June. Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce members display their goods and services to the community in a fun festival atmosphere that also includes entertainment, food, and fun for the kids. Thank you to ChamberFest sponsors Enterprise Bank & Trust, Pet Pangaea LLC, Zia Credit Union and Classic Air Medical.
