CHAMBER News:

The Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the new addition to UPEX & Gifts, LLC: Yas’ Elevated Jewelry & Gifts, with a ribbon cutting at noon Thursday, March 10 at 107 Central Park Square.

Yasmin Acosta and Eliverio Acosta purchased the UPEX Store from Melanie and Ernie Bennett back in January. UPEX has been renamed UPEX & Gifts, LLC. The space next door, that was previously Bennett’s Fine Jewelry, is now reopening as Yas’ Elevated Jewelry & Gifts.

“We are delighted to be opening a new gift shop in Los Alamos,” new owner Yasmin Acosta said. “Yas’ Elevated Jewelry & Gifts will be offering silver and gold jewelry, locally made jewelry, unique gifts and will continue to offer watch batteries and bands.”

Yas’ Elevated Jewelry & Gifts will be open 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. To celebrate the event, the first 25 attendees in the store on Thursday, March 10 will receive a gift basket.

The ribbon cutting will take place at noon.
