Sunday March 23, the Los Alamos Atomic Tumblers from the Los Alamos School of Gymnastics (LASG) traveled to Albuquerque to compete in the 2025 New Mexico USAG Xcel Bronze and Silver State Championships.
Addison Lowe was named the Bronze Jr A State Champion, scoring 35.75 for first place all around in her age division. She took first place gold medals on vault (8.725) and bars (9.575) also. Her floor score was 8.95, good enough for the second place silver medal and her 8.50 on beam was fourth.
Savannah Caizza also competed in this division. She finished third all around with a 34.70. She won a silver medal with a 8.65 vault, and bronze medals on bars (8.925) and beam (8.525). Her floor exercise was an 8.60 for fourth place.
Maya Ternet tied for first place all around with 35.375 in the Jr B Bronze Age division, but won the silver medal in the tie breaker. She also won gold on vault (8.825), silver on beam (8.80), and bronze on bars (9.25). Her floor was an 8.50 for fifth.
Noelle Garduno competed in the Bronze Junior C division. She finished third in the all around for the Bronze medal, with 34.75. She also took bronze medals on beam (8.825) and floor (8.775). She was fourth on vault with 8.40, and fifth on bars with 8.75.
Hannah Meierbachtol was in the senior A division. She tied for fourth all around receiving fifth with the tie breaker. Hannah won a bronze medal on beam with 8.775. She was fourth on floor with 8.95, and fifth on vault (8.40) and bars (9.05). Also in this age division was Hanna Valencia. Hanna was sixth all-around with 34.25. She took bronze medals for third on bars (9.175) and vault (8.525). She finished seventh on beam (8.00) and floor (8.55).
Emma Fadner competed in the senior B division. She finished second all around with 37.20 – the highest LASG score of the weekend, and fifth highest of all 101 Bronze in the state. Emma took the gold medal on vault with 9.50, the silver medal on floor with 9.45, fourth on beam with 9.05, and fifth on bars with 9.20.
Ten Los Alamos Atomic Tumblers also competed at the Xcel Silver State Championships.
Competing in the Silver Junior A division, Maddie Vallejo tied for first place on the vault with a score of 9.050, and had two third place finishes on bars (9.275) and beam (8.675). She was seventh on floor with 8.175. She finished fourth in the all around competition with a score of 35.175.
Also competing in the Silver Jr A division were Ava Zadina, finishing sixth in the all around with 34.450. In individual events she placed fourth on vault (8.60), and fifth on floor (8.65). and beam (8.10).
Emery Apperson also in this division was seventh in the all around with 33.575. She finished sixth on vault (8.275), beam (8.00), and floor (8.50). Her 8.80 on bars placed seventh.
Lucy Meierbachtol competed in the Silver Junior B division. She earned a bronze medal for her third place finish on the bars with a 9.500 and was fifth on vault (8.925), eighth on beam (8.025), ninth on floor (8.625), and seventh in the all around with 35.075.
Harmony Cutter earned ninth place in the all around competition in the same division with a 34.600. She finished sixth on vault (8.75), seventh on bars (9.075) and beam (8.075), and eighth on floor (8.70).
Competing in the Silver Junior C division was Nina Gyrya, earning a gold medal on the beam with a score of 9.275, fourth on vault (8.825), fifth on bars (9.00) and floor (8.775), and fourth in the all around with 34.875.
Serenity Tao, also competed in the Silver Jr C division, and earned a gold medal in the vault with 9.050. She placed fourth on bars (9.15) and floor (9.00) and eighth on beam (8.00). She finished sixth in the all around with 35.200. Also competing in this Silver division was Tehya Thornton. Tehya earned 9.000 on bars which tied her for fifth place. Her 8.35 was eighth on vault. She placed ninth on beam and floor and in the all around competition with 32.900.
Addy Archuleta competed in the Silver senior A division and scored 8.950, tying her for fourth place on floor. She was fifth on bars (9.225), seventh on vault (8.70), and eighth on beam (8.60). She earned 35.475 in the all around, placing her seventh (also a tie).
Competing in the Silver B Division was Abbie Johnson. She placed first, taking the gold medal on vault with a score of 9.000. She also finished seventh on floor (8.625) and sixth on bars (8.575). Her all around competition score of 33.95 earned her seventh place in the division.
