Los Alamos Artist Brenda Fleming Creates Oppenheimer T-shirt And Swag Shop

BUSINESS News:

Robert Oppenheimer, scientific director of the Manhattan Project, would turn 119 April 22. Celebrate with Oppenheimer swag designed by local  artist and Los Alamos native Brenda Fleming.

Visit Fleming’s online storefront to see Oppenheimer – and Los Alamos-themed designs, which can be printed on colorful t-shirts, sweatshirts, mugs, stickers and more.

The Oppenheimer designs incorporate phrases such as “Party like a Smarty” and “Let the chalk do the talking” along with original Oppenheimer artwork.

Another design shows a yeti wearing socks and sandals (classic fashion here on the hill) and other New Mexico-themed artwork inspired by mesas, mountains and wildlife–including an Abert’s squirrel with the tagline, “Squirrels just wanna have fun”.

Perfect gifts for friends and family near and far, or for yourself, these designs are the perfect way to show some love for Los Alamos and its history, whether that be for upcoming events such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Sciencefest or the upcoming Oppenheimer.
