The Los Alamos Aquatomics participated in the “8 and Under” and “10 and Under” State Swim Competition last weekend in Santa Fe and came in second place overall in the 10 and Under category.
The Los Alamos Aquatomics (LAA) is one of the oldest USA Swimming Teams in the United States, serving the Los Alamos Community since 1963. LAA is a co-operative, 501c.3 non-profit organization, overseen by a volunteer board of directors and run by its professional coaching staff.
The swim team promotes age-group, USA Swimming and US Masters Swimming.
The Los Alamos Aquatomics, lead by Head Coach John Murphy (’72 Olympian), provides a thrilling environment for building competitive swimmers with skills they can incorporate through all facets of their lives.
LAA stresses a healthy competitive spirit, strong team bonds, a safe and nurturing environment, and wishes to foster a life-long love for swimming.
