SPORTS News:
The Los Alamos Aquatomics started their Short Course Season Oct. 23 at West Mesa Aquatic Center.
The Spooktacular saw 17 of the Aquatomic teammates competing. It was a slightly different format in that the longest event was a 100-yard IM. All other events were either 25 yards or 50 yards. Everyone got some good sprinting in early in the season!
Athletes included Neutron Group swimmers Max Wilson, Ruby Starrett, Peter Maginot, Z Certik, and Daniel Certik.
Proton Group swimmers were Ana Saenz, Leif Neill, Ashley McLaughlin, Gabe Mamula, Ammon Lee, McKenzie Gerlicher, and Samantha Clayton.
The Electron Group consisted of Zach Sestric, Owen McLaughlin, and Michelle Lo.
Swimmers from the Flex and Senior Groups were Hannah Lee and William Borovina.
The swimmers had fun going through the haunted house, doing a cake walk, earning prizes for winning their heats, and most of all swimming fast!
