The Los Alamos Amateur Radio Club (LAARC) will meet Friday, Feb. 14. This regular monthly meeting begins at 8 p.m. in the Club Meeting Room upstairs at 4017 Arkansas.

This regular meeting reviews the state of amateur radio frequencies, repeaters, long distance propagation, and emergency support equipment. Current and upcoming efforts to support amateur radio and emergency response services in Los Alamos and Northern New Mexico are covered as well.

There are a large number of hams in Los Alamos. Licensees and those just interested in how amateur radio works in general is welcome to attend the meeting.
