Sports News:

Charger Aquatics swimmers from Los Alamos arrived in Fort Myers, Fla. Saturday, June 8 to begin a week of sea-level training with other teams from around the United States.

Their host is Gulf Coast Swim Team (GCST).

The teams will be competing against 15 clubs in the 2013 GCST Summer Open Meet that began Thursday, June 13 and runs through Sunday, June 16.

There will be 742 swimmers in the water this weekend for some fast racing.

In between morning and afternoon training sessions, the Charger kids have enjoyed looking for alligators in the ponds surrounding the pool, relaxing in the hot tub, and visits to the outlet mall, citrus farm and beach.
