The Betty Ehart and White Rock senior centers are collecting items for cats and dogs through Jan. 17. The items will support pet needs for seniors and the Los Alamos Animal Shelter. Donations of wet dog and cat food is requested. Upon hearing of the pet collection to honor Betty White’s 100th birthday, a community member donated these three cat condos. They will be shared with Los Alamos Medical Center, senior living centers, grocery stores, LAPD, LAFD and small businesses faced with adversity.
