At 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, Teatro Paraguas in Santa Fe presents the World Premiere of the expanded, two-scene version of Hunker Down by Los Alamos playwright, Robert F. Benjamin

Hunker Down  is a romantic comedy about single older adults coping to “shelter-in-place” during the COVID Crisis. 

Bari’s cabin fever impels her to seek in-person social connection. As a long-time recluse, Kevin seems to be happily weathering the storm. Although these neighbors dislike each other, Bari launches a battle of wits to struggle for social connection. Will Kevin see the light?

Performed by Duchess Dale and Don Converse, the 40 minute event is followed by audience talkback.
