Little Studio On The Mesa To Change Course

Little Studio on the Mesa

Dear Customers and Friends,

The time has come for me to change course with the studio, the status quo is no longer working for me personally or professionally.

I will maintain operations as-is through the end of the year, and as of Jan. 1 the studio will be open only for classes, scheduled events, parties and groups while I decide what my next move is.

  • As of Jan. 1, 2025, DROP-IN WILL NO LONGER BE AN OPTION.
  • My inventory of paint your own pottery will not be replenished between now and Dec. 31. What I have now is what I have through the end of the year. I will be offering some special order-ahead larger items, but I will not be ordering anymore items for drop-in painting this year.
  • I still have SO MUCH fired pottery and glass that has been left behind. Please come pick up your completed work. I will be donating some very old items to Trinity on the Hill’s Children’s Christmas Bazaar at the end of November. Everything else (except for items made in November and December) will be donated, sold or tossed at the end of the year.
  • Drop-In clay will cease to be an option as of Nov. 23 to allow time for both firings to happen before the end of the year.
  • I am updating the calendar on the website and posting the remaining 2024 hours on the front door of the building, and including them in my social media presence. Please refer to these locations for my hours until the end of the year. They will no longer be regular week to week. I have too many parenting and off-site event conflicts from now to the end of the year to try and make regular hours work. I have also removed any trace of regular hours from Google, Facebook, the website, Tripadvisor, etc.

I have 4 years left with my kids in high school. I do not want to spend these remaining years being tied to a building; life is too short to miss any of it. Also, the stress and time spent manning regular studio hours is beginning to take a toll on my mental and physical well-being. I am SO exhausted.

I want to thank everyone who has supported me over the past 2 and a half years. This has been a wonderful experience, and I have made some great new friends along the way.

I look forward to the next chapter of Little Studio on the Mesa, and I hope you will all remain patient with me as I reconfigure my business model and continue to offer fun and unique art experiences to Los Alamos and White Rock.

See you in the studio and around town.
