As a community, we deserve leaders who act with integrity, transparency, and a genuine commitment to putting students first. That’s why I believe Antonio Jaurigue is the best candidate for School Board District 2.

Antonio has consistently shown that his decisions are guided not by politics or convenience, but by ethics and a deep sense of responsibility to our students and staff. Prior to his wife accepted a teaching position, he made the difficult choice to voluntarily step down from the board, proving his commitment to doing what’s ethical over what’s easy. That’s the kind of integrity our district needs.

During his previous service, Antonio demonstrated transparency and honesty, always keeping students and public trust at the center of every decision. He worked tirelessly to strengthen collaboration between parents, teachers, and administrators, because he knows that strong schools are built on strong community relationships.

Antonio wants every student to feel valued and capable, regardless of whether they fit into the narrow standards society has decided are important. His student-centered approach ensures that every learner—regardless of background, learning style, or circumstance—has access to the support and opportunities they deserve.

Antonio has also been a strong advocate for our district at the state level. When legislators threatened to withhold funding for our new schools and even for student meal programs, he was the only board member who went to the Capitol—spending weeks in front of committees—making the case for why our students needed and deserved that funding. His persistence helped secure crucial resources that are directly benefiting our students today.

Antonio Jaurigue’s leadership is calm, steady, and grounded in his values: transparency, accountability, and ethical governance. He believes public education is the heart of our community, and that every child deserves the best opportunities to learn and grow. He’s not running to compete with others—he’s running to serve us all, with honesty and heart.
