Having lived many years in foreign lands – relying on protracted – and often fractured supply chains; I have a deep appreciation of the difficulties of delivering a drug, such as the COVID vaccine.
It foremost requires a global supply chain of dedicated professionals, followed by a steadfast medical network – foremost of whom are medical logisticians – to deliver the shot in the arm.
Seldom have I seen such a combination of skills and dedication come together such as here in New Mexico; and especially in our county of Los Alamos.
Citizens of Los Alamos should be well proud of this amazing struggle to keep our community healthy. We owe them all … logistician, administrators, nurses; … our most profound gratitude.
