I am writing to express my strong endorsement of David Hampton, Connor Tharp, and Andy Fischer Wright for election to the UNM-Los Alamos Advisory Board.

Each of these individuals has demonstrated a deep commitment to public service, thoughtful leadership, and an understanding of the responsibilities that come with representing our community through this important governing body.

UNM-Los Alamos plays a vital role not only within Los Alamos County but across northern New Mexico. As a branch campus of our state’s flagship university, UNM-LA provides accessible, high-quality education that supports workforce development, lifelong learning, and economic growth throughout the region. The Advisory Board’s stewardship directly impacts the campus’s ability to serve students, partner with local institutions, and strengthen the educational and professional fabric of our communities.

David Hampton, Connor Tharp, and Andy Fischer Wright bring the experience, integrity, and collaborative spirit necessary to ensure that UNM-Los Alamos continues to thrive as a center for opportunity and innovation. They understand that effective governance requires balance between fiscal responsibility and vision, between local needs and institutional priorities, and between continuity and progress.

Their leadership will help guide UNM-Los Alamos in fulfilling its mission as a dynamic educational resource for all northern New Mexico. For these reasons, I urge voters to join me in supporting David, Connor, and Andy for the UNM-Los Alamos Advisory Board.
